Happy 11 months Zachary!

I can't believe that I am posting that my baby boy is 11 months old today! I can't honestly believe how quickly the past 11 months have gone. Really, I can't believe how fast the past 2 years have gone. Next thing I know I'll be sending him off to school!

I made a fire helmet cake for Jeff to take to work. It wasn't as nice as I was hoping, the proportions are off but it was fun to do! It only took me about 1/2 hour to decorate. I'm bluring out the info on the shield mainly because I don't want just anyone knowing who my hubby is. Hope you enjoy!

So, the last couple nights haven't been as good as the first 2 with putting him downstairs. The first 2 nights he slept from 8 until 7:30 without waking up once! He's still sleeping through, but Saturday night he woke up around 5 (well, I guess it would be Sunday morning!) and sounded so sad so I went down and picked him up. He clung to me like he was never going to see me again! And he would just look up at me, kiss me, then put his head back down on me. It was very sweet! After about 5 minutes, I put him back to bed, he cried for a few minutes and then slept until close to 8.

Last night, would have been ok, except for Jeff got a fire call around 3:30. He got home around 4:30 and then had a shower and went downstairs to watch tv to tire him out. So I usually can't sleep when he's not in bed with me, so I went down to see if he wanted to come to bed yet. He did, but then we both just laid there, not sleeping! So around 5:30 we decided to go downstairs to watch tv. And then Zach was up around 6:30. So I have a feeling it will be an early night tonight.

I really hope he starts sleeping like he did Thursday night, cause once the weather warms up a bit I plan on starting the Couch to 5K again. I really miss running. I miss being all by myself with the sun shining down on me, with my mp3 player and just running. I know I will get there again, but it will be a hard start I'm sure.
